The Adviser, Health and safety is an integral to ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by delivering practical WHS guidance and fostering a culture of safety in a challenging operational environment.

In this role you will assist the management team within the centre to fulfil their legislative obligations relating to workplace health & safety and to promote the Department's strategic goals associated with promoting services and workplace safety matters.

The role is functionally accountable to the Senior Adviser Health & Safety but is located within the Woodford Correctional Centre. Furthermore, this role provides significant support and advice to centre management to promote and embed a safety culture across the centre and assist with the implementation and review of the centre's health and safety framework.
