The Office of the Information Commissioner is seeking a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant to provide high-quality, timely executive and administrative support to the Information Commissioner, Privacy Commissioner and Right to Information Commissioner. In this role, you will assist the Commissioners meet their statutory responsibilities while managing sensitive matters with integrity, discretion and attention to detail. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, 58 hrs per fortnight

About the role

The Executive Assistant works closely with the Information Commissioner, Privacy Commissioner and Right to Information Commissioner (the Commissioners) providing high quality, timely and executive administrative services to assist them in fulfilling their statutory responsibilities under the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) and Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld). As Executive Assistant, you will have attention to detail, strong communication, integrity, discretion, and an ability to positively engage internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Commissioners. 

From time to time, you will also be required to assist other OIC teams with their administrative needs as part of working in a flexible and team-oriented public sector organisation.
