The Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) is seeking experienced and qualified applicants for the role of Manager, Finance, Procurement and Facilities. The successful applicant will lead initiatives to strengthen and streamline the OIC's financial management, oversight, resource allocation and reporting functions, supporting informed Executive decision-making. This opportunity is offered on a permanent full-time, or part-time basis, minimum 58 hours per fortnight.

About the role

The Manager, Finance, Procurement and Facilities leads management accounting services and ensures the Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) meets its financial, legislative and statutory obligations. The role oversees compliance with relevant standards and legislation, while strengthening financial frameworks, policies and controls to support efficient and effective operations. The role also provides strategic advice to the Executive Director and Executive Leadership Team on financial performance, resource allocation, procurement and funding opportunities. It supports sound decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, risk identification and continuous improvement of financial systems, policies and reporting.

In addition, the role oversees procurement, contract management and facilities management functions to ensure best value outcomes and safe, effective workplaces.

The incumbent requires strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability, including providing direction, advice and support to the Senior Finance Officer and the Senior Facilities, Procurement and Contract Management Officer.
