Join the Legal, Audit, Risk and Compliance team as Director, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance and provide strategic leadership across internal audit, enterprise risk management, compliance and policy governance for the department.
Reporting to the Chief Counsel, this role performs the statutory Head of Internal Audit function while leading two small, but specialised teams, to collaborate with the business and governance bodies to deliver impactful programs of work and guidance to the Audit and Risk Committee.
You will deliver a Quality Assurance and Improvement Program and annual risk management and compliance framework reviews, to drive initiatives that enhance fraud control maturity and governance arrangements.
Success in this role will come from your ability to provide independent assurance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and develop effective reporting mechanisms that influence senior stakeholders in strengthening governance controls and effectiveness.
The role requires qualifications that meet the requirements for appointment as Head of Internal Audit under the Financial Accountability framework.
