In this role you will:
- Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's First Nations strategic and action plan.
- Ensure First Nations strategies align with relevant government priorities, legislation and whole-of-government frameworks.
- Provide strategic advice to executive leadership on First Nations opportunities and emerging issues.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on progress against First Nations strategic objectives and plans.
- Oversee the coordination of the First Nations Advisory Committee meetings.
- Consider First Nations client survey results and identify initiatives to enhance service delivery to clients.
- Lead the development of initiatives that advance reconciliation, Closing the Gap commitments and First Nations outcomes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with First Nations communities, Traditional Owners, government agencies and other key stakeholders.
