What will you do in the role of Group Director, New Growth:
- Lead the strategic identification and delivery of new Provisional Priority Development Areas (PPDAs) and Priority Development Areas (PDAs), including review and amendment of existing PDAs to drive development outcomes.
- Drive coordinated government responses to facilitate new growth while ensuring alignment with infrastructure planning, environmental standards, and regional growth strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the Group Director Specialist Services to ensure land use and infrastructure planning is integrated and delivery is financially sustainable.
- Work collaboratively with the Group Director Established Growth to ensure early strategic Development Approvals realise development intent in new PDAs and PPDAs.
About You:
- Demonstrated executive leadership in government, large-scale development, or infrastructure environments.
- Proven record of fast-tracking complex development projects with high compliance, governance, and stakeholder engagement standards.
- Strategic acumen and capability to deliver innovative solutions in a dynamic and complex policy context.
- Advanced interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including negotiation and cross-sector partnerships.
- Evidence of working within a project and service environment, including experience with people, process and systems design and implementation to support high-quality delivery.
- Knowledge of government practices and familiarity in working with those processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
