Come and join the Strategic Policy and Legislation, Women and Multicultural Affairs division in the Department of Women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships and Multiculturalism. We are looking for a Principal Policy Officer who is collaborative, innovative and dedicated and who is looking for a role that allows them to make a strong contribution to policy outcomes and mentor others in their career in policy. You will work on policy matters that are about creating a future of equity, inclusion and opportunity for people and communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to policies and programs that support improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities across Queensland. Working in a dynamic policy environment, you will lead complex policy projects, undertake research and analysis, and provide strategic advice to inform government decision-making. You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, government agencies and community partners, to develop solutions to complex issues and support meaningful change.
The role offers the opportunity to influence policy, build strong partnerships, and contribute to initiatives that have a lasting impact on communities, while working as part of a collaborative and high-performing team.
