The Executive Director (Disability) is responsible for leading a team to provide advice to support the Minister and the Director-General to deliver on the Government's strategic policy, intergovernmental relations and legislative commitments and reform agenda, as they relate to the department's portfolio responsibilities for disability services.
The role will work closely with Queensland Government agencies, other State/Territory and Commonwealth Governments, the National Disability Insurance Agency, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and the non-government sector to achieve client outcomes.

You will have a record of success as a leader in a large, dynamic and complex organisation with outstanding leadership ability.
You will have extensive experience leading complex strategic policy and legislative projects that require whole-of-government policy development, coordination and oversight, and delivering initiatives that support the executive leadership team to create safe, well, rewarding, diverse and inclusive workplaces for our valued staff while ensuring sustainable and responsive service delivery.
