You'll lead the department's corporate card and travel functions, provide expert financial advice, develop policies and training, and help ensure strong financial controls and compliance across a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce.

Your contribution

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage the department's travel and corporate card programs.
• Provide expert advice on financial policies, compliance requirements and business processes.
• Analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions that improve financial systems and controls.
• Deliver training and support to staff across Queensland.
• Develop and review financial policies, procedures and guidance materials.
• Create insightful Power BI reports and dashboards that help stakeholders make better decisions and monitor organisational performance.
• Support end-of-year financial reporting and assurance activities.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
