This position offers an experienced financial leader the opportunity to apply their expertise in strategic financial management, executive stakeholder engagement, and people leadership within a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will take ownership of the department's budgetary function — partnering with senior leaders across the business, driving the annual budget cycle from development through to reporting (including government budget papers and executive governance forums), building a strong working relationship with Queensland Treasury as our key fiscal authority, and developing the capability of a team of seven management accounting and budget professionals.

Whether you are coming from the private sector, a public sector entity, or a government department, your grounding in financial performance analysis, forecasting, and strategic advice will translate directly.
