The Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Technical Publications, Systems and Training team within the Engineering and Technology (E&T) branch.

As Program Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and direction across three key functions:

•End-to-end release and publishing of TMR's technical publications, including the publishing and maintenance of engineering manuals, specifications, contracts, drawings and guidelines, which are critical to the delivery of Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP).
•E&T Connect (SharePoint), including the design and management of SharePoint sites and project spaces used across the E&T Branch and the Infrastructure Management and Delivery Division (IMD)
•Technical training development, including the development of training materials that strengthen technical capability across TMR and the broader transport sector.

Mandatory requirements:
•Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.

Highly desirable requirements:
•Previous experience leading a team will be well regarded.

Requirements of the role:
•Demonstrated experience leading complex programs, functions or multidisciplinary teams, including the planning, prioritisation and delivery of competing work programs within a dynamic operating environment.
•Proven ability to provide strategic and authoritative advice on governance, knowledge management, digital information systems, capability development or business improvement initiatives to support organisational objectives and executive decision-making.
•Highly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and achieve outcomes across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
•Experience establishing governance, quality assurance and performance frameworks, including identifying opportunities to improve technical information management, digital collaboration platforms, training products, systems and service delivery outcomes.
•Strong leadership capability, including the ability to lead change, manage resources, foster high-performing teams and deliver outcomes aligned with organisational objectives.
