- Executive Officer, Integrity and Risk (Permanent)
- Executive Officer, Digital and Information (Temporary to 28 August 2027, possible extension)
- Executive Officer, Corporate Services and Assurance (Permanent, leading a team)
About the Divisions
Legal and Legislation - Supports QBCC to deliver fair, transparent, lawful and ethical regulatory services. Provides legal advice and represents the QBCC in legal proceedings, helps ensure compliance with privacy and right to information obligations and contributes to developing effective legislation supporting the Queensland building industry.
Integrity and Risk - Supports QBCC's delivery of effective and trusted regulatory services through strong governance, assurance and integrity; and delivers independent review and dispute resolution services to our customers.
Digital and Information - Establishes, leads and manages the digital and information functions at QBCC. Supports our strategic direction by exploring emerging digital solutions, providing an effective digital working environment and governance of digital and information management practices.
Corporate Services and Assurance Group - Enables QBCC's frontline teams to deliver effective regulatory services by providing critical corporate support and oversight. Works closely with operational areas to align resources, improve organisational performance, manage risk and ensure QBCC is well-equipped to achieve its strategic objectives.
About the Role
As Executive Officer, you'll be a trusted advisor and key partner to senior executives, helping manage priorities and support informed decision-making across the division.
You will:
- Prepare high-quality briefings, reports and correspondence for senior leaders
- Research and analyse complex information, transforming insights into clear and actionable advice
- Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with the Senior Executive Assistant and support team, contributing to a positive and supportive team culture
- Monitor the Division's progress against objectives, identifying and managing potential risks and providing recommendations
The Executive Officer in Corporate Services and Assurance will also lead a team of 3 employees.
These positions are based in Brisbane. While the role allows flexibility to work from home, regular in-person attendance at the Brisbane office is mandatory.

- Confidence navigating ambiguity
- Proficiency in MS Office
Highly regarded: Experience supporting senior leaders, information management expertise and project coordination. Management experience is desirable for the Corporate Services and Assurance role.
