Yugumbir State School is a welcoming, community-focused primary school committed to high-quality teaching and student wellbeing. Applications are invited for the position of an Early Years Classroom Teacher for 2027!
As an Early Years Classroom Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver effective learning programs that meet the needs of all students and contribute to whole-school planning and objectives.
- Foster a positive and supportive school environment that promotes student learning, wellbeing and engagement.
- Support the effective use of school resources, including personnel, finances, technology, information, assets and facilities, to achieve educational and departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
- Deliver quality teaching and learning aligned with curriculum requirements, professional standards and current educational practices.
- Promote student wellbeing and positive behaviour by providing safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress using a range of assessment strategies and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with the school community through curriculum development, professional learning, school decision-making, community engagement and professional conduct.

- Full or provisional QCT registration
