The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is a statutory body set up to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and corruption in the public sector in Queensland. Its functions and powers are set out in the Crime and Corruption Act 2001. The primary purpose of this role is to supervise, manage high-volume workflows and provide support and guidance to Assessment Officers in the assessment of suspected corruption complaints that are reported to the Crime and Corruption Commission.

About you 

The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements: 

  • Demonstrated skills in leading and managing staff, including providing guidance, support, strategic direction, training, professional development and performance feedback.
  • Exhibits understanding of the Commission's role with respect to Queensland public sector and working knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire a working knowledge of, the Crime and Corruption Act 2001, the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010, the Criminal Code Act 1899 and other relevant legislation and the Commission's policies and procedures.
  • Highly developed organisational and analytical skills, experience in the fostering of a culture of quality, demonstrates the ability to analyse complex matters and exercises sound judgement and experience in planning and coordinating work flows and ensuring achievement of workload targets.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build and sustain productive working relationships within an organisation such as the Commission, in a team environment and with external stakeholders, through the application of highly developed interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Highly developed written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate confidently, clearly and concisely, and to listen, understand and adapt communication to suit different audiences.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, personal drive, self-awareness and a commitment to personal development, adherence to organisational values and the code of conduct and displays resilience by focussing on achieving objectives in sometimes difficult circumstances.

Possession of tertiary qualifications is highly desirable.   Qualifications acquired from an overseas educational institution will only be accepted where the qualification has been recognised to an equivalent level in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework.
