About the role
In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of targeted communication strategies and campaigns that raise awareness of Legal Aid Queensland's services and initiatives. You will identify and coordinate promotional opportunities across media, digital and community channels, while creating high-quality, audience-focused content in a variety of formats, including web content, newsletters, factsheets, brochures, speeches, videos and social media. Working closely with legal content experts and key stakeholders, you will produce clear, accessible and engaging resources, build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners, and manage communication projects from concept through to delivery. You will also provide timely advice on emerging issues and play an important role in supporting a collaborative, high-performing team.
About you
We're seeking someone who is strategic, creative and highly organised, with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and hands-on delivery.
You'll be well suited to this role if you have:
- experience developing and implementing communication and promotional strategies
- strong content creation skills across digital, social, media and print platforms
- the ability to produce engaging communication materials for diverse audiences
- a strong understanding of plain language and user-centred communication
- excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- proven project coordination skills, including managing deadlines and budgets
- the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- resilience, flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement
