Miles State High School is a rural school that boast impressive facilities, approximately 210km west of Toowoomba and 330km west of Brisbane. You will live in a vibrant rural community with close proximity to the city.  Our dedicated and professional teaching team proudly provides quality education and excellent outcomes for our students in Years 7 to 12.


Within our school and the greater community, it is our focus to ensure we are all 'Partners in Learning' in order to develop and support the high standards and high expectations that positively impact and develop our students to become global citizens who value learning and community citizenship.


The school draws students from the town of Miles and surrounding rural areas. We have a number of small feeder schools from the townships of Condamine, Drillham, Dulacca, Guluguba and Wandoan.
