You will work collaboratively with a team to provide a positive customer experience through the delivery of a wide range of products and services to clients through a variety of channels. You will also conduct practical driving assessments for
Queensland driver's licence using well developed interpersonal skills with total commitment to quality customer service delivery.
Some of your responsibilities will also include:
• Conduct practical driving assessments for applicants, ensuring compliance with Queensland Government standards and road safety regulations, and evaluate candidates' driving skills, knowledge of road rules, and ability to operate vehicles safely in a range of traffic and road conditions.
• Provide clear, constructive and professional feedback to candidates, ensure all testing procedures are conducted fairly, consistently and in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, and promote road safety awareness to support the department's road safety objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of procedures, processes, products and services to deliver government services, including licensing, registration, and other customer transactions, across a variety of customer channels (including phone, online and face-to-face) in an efficient and effective manner.
• Assess customer needs and provide accurate information, guidance and referrals to the appropriate service channel, specialist or location, while effectively navigating multiple systems and databases to undertake operational and administrative tasks, including processing transactions, collecting and remitting monies and reconciling banking and daily remittances.
• Work collaboratively as an effective team member to achieve key team and individual performance targets, support team activities and objectives and where required, provide training and mentoring to customer service officers and trainees in customer services, systems and products.
