Every year, Driving Examiners support more than 195,000 Queenslanders take an important step towards independence by obtaining a driver licence. As part of this important journey, you'll help customers achieve a significant life milestone while contributing to safer roads and stronger communities.

As a Driving Examiner, you'll combine customer service, communication and sound judgement to assess licence applicants, provide professional and constructive feedback, and deliver a positive customer experience. You'll work with people from diverse backgrounds and play an important role in supporting road safety outcomes across Queensland.

No previous Driving Examiner experience is required. We provide comprehensive paid training and ongoing support to develop the skills needed to succeed in the role.

Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available across a range of Queensland locations.

Mandatory Requirements
• Hold a current Open C (manual) Queensland driver licence (or equivalent Australian licence)
• Have held your Open C licence for at least 12 months
• Higher licence classes will be highly regarded including HR (Heavy Rigid), HC (Heavy Combination) and R (motorcycle) classes.
• Meet the requirements of criminal history and traffic history checks
