As the Team Leader, State and National Programs, you will provide leadership, direction and support to a team responsible for assessing applications for assistance in line with established scheme guidelines, policies and service standards. You will play a key role in driving performance, managing priorities, and fostering a positive team culture focused on quality outcomes and continuous improvement. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of a team of Assessment Officers.
• Proactively undertake the allocation and monitoring of resources to deliver effective work outcomes.
• Develop, implement and review performance and development plans for individual team members.
• Approve eligible applications for assistance within discretionary approval limits.
• Assess applications for assistance and make recommendations to senior management and review 
  existing loan accounts.
• Ensure the team's resources and information are in accordance with QRIDA's governance and policy 
  frameworks, including but not limited to risk management, work health and safety, and records 
  management.
• Other duties as directed.

As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.
