The opportunity
Lead the practical transformation of digital recordkeeping across a complex, multiagency environment.
This opportunity calls for an accomplished digital records professional to lead a specialist team delivering digital recordkeeping services, eDRMS initiatives, compliance activities and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Manager, Records Management, the role translates approved strategies and roadmaps into practical outcomes that improve governance, accessibility and customer experience.
The work strengthens how ITP and its partner agencies manage, protect and find reliable information. ITP supports seven Queensland Government agencies, approximately 15,000 user accounts and 300 sites across Queensland. This scale offers meaningful professional challenge, broad collaboration and the opportunity to improve recordkeeping capability across diverse environments.
The talent we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced digital records leader who can connect strategy, systems, people and service delivery. The strongest candidates will bring:
- demonstrated experience guiding specialist teams in digital recordkeeping, eDRMS, information governance and compliance or related information management services within a large and complex organisation
- practical delivery experience across transformation, system uplift, service improvement or compliance initiatives
- engaging people leadership, including coaching, capability development and creating a high-performing team culture
- sound judgement and the ability to make complex requirements clear, practical and usable
- strong relationship-building and influencing skills across business, technical and executive stakeholder groups
- the ability to translate strategy and complex issues into solutions, briefings, business cases, implementation plans and recommendations.
Experience with Microsoft 365 information governance and records management, Queensland Government recordkeeping requirements, or a relevant tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.

The role leads enterprise digital recordkeeping strategies, roadmaps and improvement initiatives; strengthens compliance, accessibility and customer outcomes; improves governance of high-value and high-risk information; and builds recordkeeping maturity across partner agencies. It also provides authoritative advice and leads eDRMS, business improvement and system uplift activities, including opportunities involving automation, AI and contemporary information management practices.
