About the team

The Chief Procurement Office forms part of the Enabling Solutions Group and leads TMR's centre led procurement function. We partner with business areas across the department to deliver strategic sourcing and contract management outcomes, strengthen procurement governance, manage risk and support value for money. Our work contributes to procurement excellence through effective advice, policy development, capability uplift and continuous improvement.

The Procurement Customer Support Team is a centre of procurement expertise within the Chief Procurement Office. The team provides professional, authoritative and timely advice and support to improve procurement performance and compliance across TMR.

About the role

As Principal Procurement Advisor, you will lead the Procurement Customer Support Team and play an important role in delivering high-quality procurement services across the department. You will lead and develop the team, provide expert advice on complex procurement matters and work closely with stakeholders to deliver practical, customer-focused solutions.

You will also lead complex end-to-end procurement activities, including procurement planning, strategic sourcing, tender management, evaluation, negotiation, supplier arrangements, contract establishment and contract management. You will contribute to procurement strategies and improvements that strengthen governance, support compliance, manage risk and deliver value-for-money outcomes.
