About the Role
As a Senior Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting program governance, executive decision-making, and project delivery outcomes. You will coordinate governance activities, manage committee operations, prepare high quality reports and briefing materials, and ensure risks, actions, and program information are accurately tracked and reported. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will contribute to effective governance, accountability, and the successful delivery of strategic program objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate governance boards and committees, including agenda preparation, meeting scheduling, documentation management, and production of accurate minutes.
- Prepare executive-quality reports, briefing notes, correspondence, presentations, and governance papers.
- Maintain governance frameworks, action registers, decision logs, records management systems, and committee documentation.
- Monitor and report on project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and actions across multiple workstreams.
- Compile, analyse, and present program performance information to support leadership and governance decision-making.
- Apply governance policies, procedures, and Terms of Reference to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Utilise Microsoft Office and digital collaboration platforms to produce professional reporting and governance outputs.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities with executives, senior leaders, project teams, and external partners.
- Manage competing priorities, deadlines, and governance cycles while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support risk and issue management processes, including maintaining risk registers and monitoring mitigation actions.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, technology requirements, and supporting materials to ensure effective governance forums.
- Analyse information from multiple sources to identify trends, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.

- Demonstrated ability to prepare executive-level reports, briefings, and high-quality meeting minutes.
- Proven project coordination and program administration capability.
- Experience monitoring risks, issues, actions, and project performance metrics.
- Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret information and provide practical recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools.
- Excellent records management and document control capability.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly when working with senior executives and leadership teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to governance compliance.
