TARGETED VACANCY - This position is open to current Queensland Government employees only.
Transport and Main Roads is seeking a permanent, full-time AO3 Project Support Officer to join Program Delivery and Operations in Rockhampton. The Central Queensland Region delivers and maintains transport infrastructure across a large and diverse area, and this role provides the reliable administrative support our project teams need to deliver their work effectively.
In this varied role, you will manage project information and provide day-to-day operational support. You will work with a broad range of software, information management systems and databases, while ensuring records and processes meet departmental policies, legislation and governance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- coordinating document control, records and requests for information
- maintaining project databases, documentation and accurate data
- assisting with procurement and tender documentation and records
- coordinating meetings and preparing reports and correspondence
- organising travel, events, room bookings and catering
- reconciling financial transactions, including corporate credit card payments
- assisting with fleet management
- building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- helping improve local work practices to meet project office and compliance needs.

You will bring strong computer and information management skills, clear communication and experience supporting procurement, contract administration or documentation in a project or program environment.
