As Technical Manager ITS & E, you will develop and deliver technical training programs and conduct workforce skills assessments for RoadTek's electrical field staff across Queensland. You will identify training needs, develop and maintain training modules and resources, facilitate training sessions and evaluate training outcomes to ensure employees have the skills and competencies required to perform their roles safely and effectively.
You will provide training and support to electrical apprentices, manage training schedules and resources, and undertake skills assessments. You will also oversee the development and governance of Safe Systems of Work, support effective hazard and risk identification, chair and participate in statewide working groups, and provide expert ITS & Electrical advice to support legislative, workplace health and safety and electrical safety obligations. Some statewide travel is required.
About you:
To thrive in this role, you will bring strong knowledge and experience in electrical infrastructure procedures, systems and methodologies, combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to a range of audiences. You will be organised, focused on delivering quality outcomes and confident in identifying capability gaps and developing effective learning solutions.
An Electrical Licence, or other qualification acceptable to the Director-General, is required or must be obtained within a designated timeframe. You will also require a White or Blue Card and a valid Queensland C class driver licence or equivalent. A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Authorised Persons Accreditation and ACMA accreditation are desirable.
