The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service has an exciting opportunity available for you to become part of a collaborative team helping to conserve and maintain the network of national and conservation parks on the Gold Coast.
As rangers within the South East Queensland Region you will work with other Rangers, contractors and a range of partners and stakeholders in delivering positive outcomes for the environment and community.
Whilst not mandatory, it is highly desirable that the successful applicant already holds one or more of the following accreditations and / or certificates. Training will be provided by the Department to the successful applicant in order to attain the required accreditations / certificates.
• Chainsaw operator's accreditation (Level 1 or 2 certificate).
• Senior First Aid certificate.
• Firefighting Operations (Fire Crew) Level 1 certificate.
• Unrestricted Agriculture Chemical Distribution Certificate.
• Departmental Law Enforcement accreditation (Level 1).
