Bracken Ridge State School is seeking a confident, dedicated and adaptable Year 2 teacher to join our supportive school community on a temporary full-time basis for the remainder of the 2026 school year. With a strong focus on student wellbeing, engagement and positive behaviour, our school is committed to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student is supported to achieve their potential.
We are looking for a teacher with strong classroom and behaviour management skills, who can confidently establish clear expectations, build positive relationships and create a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment. Experience implementing proactive behaviour management strategies, supporting students with diverse learning and behavioural needs, and fostering emotional regulation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and trauma-informed practices, including the Berry Street Education Model, would be an advantage.
