Be part of a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape passenger transport for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Join the team responsible for planning and integrating the transport solutions that will help thousands of spectators and workforce move safely, reliably and efficiently during one of the world's largest sporting events.

As Director (Games Time Passenger Transport Planning), you will play a key leadership role in developing the integrated, multi-modal transport plans, operating concepts, routes and service strategies needed to deliver Brisbane 2032.

You will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise across public transport planning, operational planning, network optimisation and integrated transport coordination. You will lead complex work programs and contribute authoritative advice to senior leaders on the transport solutions needed to support successful Games delivery.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This opportunity is temporary full-time until 30 June 2029.

As Director (Games Time Passenger Transport Planning), you will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise across public transport, operational and network optimisation planning. You will lead operating concepts, planning frameworks and solutions that support customer, operational and legacy outcomes.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• leading the development of Games-time passenger transport operating concepts, planning frameworks and multi-modal transport solutions
• leading network analysis and modelling to inform public transport service planning, operational performance and decision-making
• coordinating operational modelling and planning for Brisbane 2032, major events and infrastructure projects
• identifying emerging transport challenges and opportunities and developing practical responses
• translating complex technical analysis, data and modelling into clear advice for senior leaders and stakeholders
• managing complex work programs, risks, interdependencies and competing priorities
• building strong partnerships across TMR, government, Games organisations, industry and delivery partners
• leading and developing a collaborative, high-performing and outcomes-focused team.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are an experienced, strategic leader who thrives in complex planning and delivery environments. You bring strong expertise in major-event planning and in using data, research, modelling or geospatial information to inform multi-modal transport and public transport service planning.

You can turn analysis into action, build trusted relationships across organisations and influence outcomes through collaboration and negotiation. You are comfortable working in an evolving environment where assumptions and priorities change, while maintaining a clear focus on delivery and fixed deadlines.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment.

If you are ready to lead work that will shape the Brisbane 2032 transport experience and deliver a lasting legacy for Queensland, we encourage you to apply.

For more information on this opportunity, contact Andy Meyer, Executive Director, on 0433 947 954.
