About us:

The Gladstone and Banana Allied Health Clinical Network consists of the following Health Practitioner professions: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Psychology, and Social Work as well as Allied Health Assistants and Administration Officers.

About the role:

Provide innovate and effective strategic leadership and management of the multidisciplinary Allied Heath Team across the Banana region delivering high quality, patient focused Allied Health services in acute, sub-acute, community and outreach settings across multiple rural sites.

About you:

  • Possession of at least a tertiary degree qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Psychology, or Social Work (or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution providing eligibility for registration and/or membership with the appropriate registration authority and/or professional association in Australia is mandatory.
  • Where a discipline is registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), proof of current registration is required.
  • Where a discipline is not registrable, at least proof of eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association is necessary.
  • Whilst not mandatory, possession or progression towards a management qualification and/or a post graduate qualification in a clinical area would be highly regarded.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $167,588 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $70.99 - $74.07 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
