About us:

The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service located 229km south west of Rockhampton, is part of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Theodore is situated on the Leichhardt Highway between the junction of Castle Creek and the Dawson River.

The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service is a 10-bed facility that provides a range of health serviced to the community, including emergency, inpatients and outpatients, residential aged care and telehealth services.

About the role:

The Enrolled Nurse performs the role under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivering competent; evidence-based nursing care within scope of practice. The position works collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and reliable care is provided within the dynamic health environment of the Theodore Multipurpose Health Service.

About you:

  • Mandatory qualification/s: Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a current practicing certificate are mandatory for this position.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills that support therapeutic nurse-patient communications and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Nursing knowledge and skills to competently assess, implement and evaluate patient care within scope of practice.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $86,259 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $35.92 - $38.12 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
