About us:

Biloela Hospital is a 25-bed hospital that caters for Inpatients and Outpatients including Emergency and Outpatient services, Obstetrics and Midwifery, a birthing suite with approx. 80 births per year, one operating theatre for emergency and elective caesareans and a one-on-one Midwife with woman care in the birthing suite. The hospital also provides general Medical and Surgical services, 2 acute resuscitation bays and treatment area with obstetrics and anaesthetic credentialed Medical Officers on site. Support services to the hospital include community services, radiology, pharmacy, immunisation, child health, drug and alcohol mental health services, occupational therapy, social work, pathology, physiotherapy, and oral health.

About the role:

A Nurse Grade 4 is an Enrolled Nurse with advanced skill who supports a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife in the provision of person-centred care as specified by registration requirements, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards and codes, education preparation, relevant legislation, and context of care.

About you:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Current clinical knowledge and skills in nursing practice.
  • Contributes to the nursing assessment of patients in consultation with the Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute at an advanced level to the nursing assessment and care of individuals and groups by practicing within their scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse Advanced Scope.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $6282 p.m. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $39.25 - $41.65 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
