About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to be responsible for receiving, interpreting, coordinating and processing of applications and release of information within required deadlines and in accordance with State and Commonwealth legislation, Queensland Health (QH) and Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) policies and Judicial Orders, ensuring optimum service delivery outcomes are achieved.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011and other relevant legislation and ensure that all services are conducted in accordance with MNHHS policies and guidelines.
  • Team leadership within the IAU assessing workloads, flagging issues and taking timely remedial action to ensure the efficient functioning of the unit.
  • Maintenance of accurate systems for recording and effective follow up of all requests/applications, correspondence and liaison activities.
