About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to deliver high-level clinical dietetic services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary team to paediatric patients at Caboolture Hospital, and to other stakeholders/customers of the Dietetics and Food Services Department. Duties are of a complex and varied nature and the majority are performed with a high level of independence.  

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Apply independent professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Work cooperatively and effectively with patients/ clients and within a multidisciplinary team by liaising with other health professionals, food service staff, support staff, supervisors, students and external agencies, as required.
• Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within clinical area and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of nutrition and dietetic services and patient outcomes
