About the role

This role is required to provide a high level of confidential administrative support to staff and clients at the Woodford Correctional Centre. Liaison is required with a range of Departmental / Health Service / Community / Hospital personnel and clients. This position is required to take on a wide range of administrative duties for the facility.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide a high level of confidential administrative support within a multidisciplinary team ensuring business needs are met to a high standard in a complex, fast paced and sensitive working environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency or ability to rapidly acquire skills in the use of Clinical Information Systems focusing on data integrity and attention to detail within computerised information technologies including: HBCIS, ESM, WINC, S4Hanna, Resource Management System, Training Management System and advanced level of computerised systems such as Word, Outlook and Excel (including completion of reports and planners).
  • Demonstrated an ability to manage workload appropriately; prioritising tasks and to meet deadlines in an environment of conflicting priorities. Flexible in meeting the demands of an ever-changing environment. 
  • Coordinate meetings, produce and distribute agendas and minutes as required, follow up and complete action items arising from meetings
  • Exercise judgment and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
