About the role
- To participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to medical endocrine inpatients and outpatients
- To contribute to the continual upgrading of medical education, and dissemination of knowledge to staff and
- The appointment will be to the Metro North Health for the provision of services to one of the acute Hospitals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide medical care to respiratory inpatients under the supervision of senior specialist respiratory physicians.
- Participation to 2 respiratory outpatient clinics per week.
- Participation to daily consultant-led ward rounds.
- Provide ward-based respiratory consultations and reviews for surgical and medical teams under the supervision of specialist respiratory physicians.
- Upskilling in interpretation of respiratory function tests and cross-sectional thoracic imaging.
- Upskilling in ultrasound-guided pleural drain insertion.
