About the role

Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide specialised Clinical Pharmacy services, professional leadership and operational management to the Specialist Pharmacy work unit and associated multidisciplinary team within Caboolture Hospital and other facilities throughout Metro North Health (MNH) and to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health in accordance with organisational goals.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver advanced level clinical pharmacy services by providing expert clinical knowledge, advice, professional judgement, and leadership in critical clinical problem solving.
  • Manage the designated clinical workload of the pharmacy team including operational management and resource allocation, prioritising tasks within set broad guidelines that meet departmental, legislative, professional standard requirements for clinical pharmacy services.
  • Provide advanced level clinical advice and judgement to line management and other relevant multidisciplinary team managers on the development, implementation, monitoring and review of complex clinical pharmacy services, professional standards and departmental policies and procedures.
