In your new role you will…

About your opportunity:

In this position you will be accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of clinical practice and patient education. The Clinical Nurse Consultant has a comprehensive knowledge of prostate cancer, treatment, survivorship issues, modalities and palliative care associated with this diagnosis.

About your role:

• Provide effective and efficient management of service in collaboration with the Nursing Director/Director of Nursing, clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate the provision of quality evidence-based care.
• Provide leadership to effectively plan, manage and evaluate health services to achieve organisational goals across the service.
• Effectively manage self and in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educator, Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant (Cancer Care), develop staff to enable fulfilment of role responsibilities.
