About Your role:
You will...
- Coordinate program activities and work in collaboration with the Mental Health Unit allied health, nursing and medical staff to ensure the provision of quality therapeutic interventions and the promotion of a Recovery approach.
- Provide leadership by effectively planning, managing and evaluating therapeutic activities programs and consumer and carer participation initiatives for consumers of the Mental Health Unit.
- Maintain the currency and quality of clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise by actively contributing to and participating in professional development activities, including operational and professional practice supervision.
- Undertake profession specific assessments and interventions that support mental and physical health and wellness, rehabilitation and recovery-oriented approaches within well-established clinical protocols.
- Demonstrate ability to provide leadership by effectively planning, managing and evaluating therapeutic activity programs and consumer and carer participation initiatives for consumers of the Mental Health Unit.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
