About your role:

• Deliver high level rural generalist social work clinical services across a varied range of clinical areas including complex casework in acute, sub-acute and non-acute inpatient care.
• Apply high level professional judgement and decision making to manage a complex caseload, adapting routine and non-routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable clinical evidence with minimal direct clinical practice supervision.
• Lead the development of policies, procedures and strategic planning for the work unit that are consistent with the achievement of Social Work in CHHHS and Babinda MPHS service delivery objectives.
• Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
