This is a unique opportunity to work with a small team delivering a contemporary imaging service to the Cassowary Hub of Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service – sites include Innisfail, Tully and Babinda. You will participate in general, emergency, mobile, theatre, and CT Radiography. Dual-qualified applicants will also provide high-level ultrasound services, including O&G, General, Paediatric, Musculoskeletal and Vascular.

About your role:
- Deliver high level general, emergency and mobile medical imaging clinical services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, and without need for direct clinical practice supervision.
- Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
- Report professionally to the Director of Medical Imaging and BreastScreen Services and operationally work with the Medical Superintendent and Facility Manager, Innisfail Hospital.
- Provide general clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery and equipment.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with other members of the multidisciplinary hospital team and with patients/clients.
