About your opportunity:
In this position you will deliver high level clinical pharmacy services within the Medical Assessment Unit and General Medical Wards as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing leadership and high-level pharmacy services to a complex and varied workload on the Medical Assessment Unit and Medical Wards, with a high degree of independence and initiative and to develop services to promote and maintain best practice care of patients.
About your role:
- Deliver high level clinical pharmacy services within a single or multidisciplinary team within the Cairns Hospital in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
- Provide general clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding clinical pharmacy services delivery.
- Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within clinical service area and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.
