This position has clinical and administration responsibilities to work collaboratively as part of the dental team to organise, manage and provide dental assistant services and systems to dental professionals and clients in order to optimise the oral health service of eligible clients.

About you:

In your new role you will:

• Provide accurate and proficient dental assistance as required with adaptation to an operator to provide four-handed dentistry, retraction and evacuation techniques and application of rubber dam. Monitoring of, and assisting operator in, management of patient well-being and anxiety level and an awareness of medical conditions.
• Management, oversight and sign off infection control processes such as preparation of annual tick and flick sheets, compliance with completion within allocated clinics and archiving.
• Assisting with dental radiography, developing and mounting radiographs.
