Become a part of an exciting opportunity as Radiographer – Senior (Shift) with Medical Imaging Services, Allied Health Services. You will work on a permanent basis as a HP4 Shift Radiographer within the medical imaging facilities of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. Participating in a 24hr (continuous) shift rotating roster you will deliver a high standard of general, emergency, mobile and theatre radiography. You will also provide high level CT services and assist in the mentoring and training of junior staff, graduates and students. Operationally and professionally you will report to the Assistant Director and Director of Medical Imaging and clinically through modality Section Leaders.

About us: Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

About your role:

• Deliver high level medical imaging clinical services in general, emergency, mobile and theatre radiography within a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver high level radiography services in CT.
• Deliver high level radiography services in other modalities as appropriate.
