About us: The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.

About you:

In your new role you will:

• Provide high quality, confidential administrative support to the Director of Infrastructure Asset Management and their team, in a mature and professional manner which ensures the integrity and efficiency of the directorate.
• Liaise with Queensland Health staff, external consultants, and members of the public using discretion in handling sensitive and/or confidential matters and fostering effective working relationships.
• Acquire and maintain a broad understanding of the political and social environment and maintain current knowledge of issues relevant to the Director and the management of the directorate.
