You will work as part of the Medical Records Team providing administrative and systems support in relation to confidential patient medical records, both paper-based and electronic, in an acute hospital setting.

About you:
In your new role you will:
- Prioritise, receipt, track, retrieve and manage patient medical records both paper and electronically for all clinical units across the hospital campus.
- Batch scanning and validating patient documentation into ieMR (integrated electronic medical record), with a high level of attention to detail to ensure a quality patient record.
- Administer release of information in accordance with relevant legislation, policy and statutory requirements. This includes mid-level interpretation and communication of patient information contained within the medical record and other hospital information systems to authorised external enquirers.
- Maintain confidentiality whilst accessing secure storage areas to retrieve and deliver patient medical records to wards, clinics and other hospital departments.
