An exciting opportunity currently exists for you to join the Clinical Resources Unit in the Procurement and Contracts team as a Nurse Manager. You will provide clinical direction in the development and management of procurement arrangements for clinical consumables and health technology equipment and other related arrangements, which support Queensland Health initiatives and objectives and enhance the delivery of agency programs in support of Government procurement requirements, including Queensland Health Purchasing Policy and Procedures.

About you:
In your new role you will:
- Provide effective communication, consultation and negotiation throughout the service to ensure the involvement of stakeholders.
- Demonstrates sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and participates directly or indirectly in the delivery of clinical care to individual/groups.
- Accountable for the application of contemporary human resource management principles to ensure that the unit working environment meets legislative standards and Queensland Health policy.
