About your opportunity:
The BreastScreen Queensland Cairns Service provides a free population-based mammography screening service to women over 40 years of age. The catchment area includes Cairns, Innisfail, Tablelands, Cape York, Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula and part of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service covering an area of approximately 380,000 sq kms.
About your role:
- Provide effective and efficient clinical care in the area of clinical specialty and work in collaboration with the NUM to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.
- Effectively communicate at all levels across the organisation to promote effective team functioning.
- Promotes cooperation, teamwork and understanding in undertaking generalist and/or specialist nursing practices for effective health outcomes.
- Maintains productive multi-disciplinary working relationships, effectively dealing with challenging behaviours and the resolution of conflicts.
- Demonstrated effective leadership, communication, negotiation and organisational skills that have resulted in positive outcomes for organisations, staff and patients.
