About you:
In your new role you will:
- Manage an appropriate caseload using effective time management and prioritisation skills, including clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and the maintenance of accurate patient records and documentation.
- Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with consumers and their carers, other health professionals, students, and external agencies to achieve a consumer centred approach, utilising negotiation, and conflict resolution skills as required.
- Maintain the safety of consumers of the mental health and AOD service by identifying, reporting, and mitigating risks as well as proactively contributing to safe work practices in a clinical practice environment.
- Promote consideration of discipline specific interventions within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Contribute to the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of a broad range of treatment and prevention activities to promote recovery from mental illness.
