As an allied health clinician (Psychologist/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist) you will be providing evidence-based mental health and AOD clinical services as part of a multi-disciplinary team including triage, assessment, treatment, and care coordination for consumers with severe and complex mental health and/or AOD difficulties.

About you:

In your new role you will:

• Manage an appropriate caseload using effective time management and prioritisation skills, including clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and the maintenance of accurate patient records and documentation.
• Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with consumers and their carers, other health professionals, students, and external agencies to achieve a consumer centred approach, utilising negotiation, and conflict resolution skills as required.
• Maintain the safety of consumers of the mental health and AOD service by identifying, reporting, and mitigating risks as well as proactively contributing to safe work practices in a clinical practice environment.
• Promote consideration of discipline specific interventions within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Contribute to the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of a broad range of treatment and prevention activities to promote recovery from mental illness.
