About your opportunity:
Atherton Hospital provides a pharmacy service to Atherton hospital (57 beds), Herberton Hospital (38 beds) and 7 rural and remote clinics including Malanda, Millaa Millaa, Mt Garnet, Ravenshoe, Forsythe, Croydon and Georgetown.
About your role:
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Work cooperatively and effectively within the team and with patients / clients.
- Provide input in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work area.
- Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient / client care.
- Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities.
- Provide clinical practice and operational supervision to work experience students, or those involved in observational clinical placements.
