Become a key part in revitalising rural medical services in the region. Provide and maintain an effective, efficient and equitable medical service at the Tully Hospital and other facilities within the Rural and Remote Service with support from the Director of Rural Medical Services, Tully Medical Superintendent and the Director of Nursing/Facility Manager. Competently deliver Emergency, acute, palliative and outpatient medical care to the highest professional and community standards.

Fulltime Base salary up to $266 677 p.a. (L25 – L27) or $244 313 p.a. (L18 – L24)

Purpose of the Role
Working at the Tully Hospital within rural health services across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, you will contribute as a dynamic Senior Medical Officer, providing high quality clinical care to patients within the region.

Your Opportunity

As the Senior Medical Officer you will provide a high standard of care for patients and their families, contributing to improving the health of the local population.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.
