About your role:
- Assist all staff in the work area and develop a highly compatible and supportive working team, whilst demonstrating effective communication skills, empathy, and understanding, in a patient focused environment.
- Answer queries and provide accurate information to patients, visitors and staff accessing the unit in relation to Queensland Health policy and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support including ordering of stationery, answering phone enquiries, photocopying, filing and faxing to enable health professionals and medical staff to meet their objectives and deliver services to patients and colleagues.
- Liaise with other units regarding delivery and collection of patient details, and other clinical documentation in preparation for outpatient services.
- Provide a quality client service including liaising with staff, public and private patients, carers and external agencies as required in a confidential manner.
